The greenhouse gasses trap heat from the sun, causing the earth's temperature to rise, leading to various consequences like rising sea levels, more frequent and intense heatwaves, droughts, and wildfires. The effects of climate change are already being felt around the world and are expected to worsen in the future if we don't take immediate action to reduce our carbon emissions.

The history of climate change can be traced back to the industrial revolution, which began in the late 1700s. This period saw a significant increase in the use of fossil fuels, leading to a sharp rise in carbon emissions. The first signs of climate change were observed in the early 1900s when global temperatures began to rise. Since then, the rate of warming has accelerated significantly, with the last decade being the warmest on record.

Human activities that contribute to climate change include burning fossil fuels for energy, deforestation, and industrial processes. These activities release carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere, which trap heat from the sun and cause the earth's temperature to rise.
